OK! So, in order to put your name in the drawing please comment below with your favorite summer cocktail! Include the recipe if you want to...we're always looking for new drink recipes to try out...or at least I am! Below is one of my go-to summery drinks. My friend saw me make it and said it takes too long and she would be so thirsty by the time it was made she would chug it. I don't mind the wait...it's always worth it!

Rebecca's Basil & Cucumber Gimlet

4 slices of cucmber

1 lemon wedge

3 basil leaves

1 small jigger club soda

1 large jiggerVodka

Tsp sugar

Muddle your cucumber and basil together and add to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. In cocktail shaker, pour in a large jigger of vodka a small jigger of club soda. Squeeze your lemon into the mix and add a teaspoon of sugar. Shake shake shake. Take your used lemon wedge and run it around the rim of a martini glass. Pour sugar onto a plate and dip the rim into the sugar. Get to pouring and enjoy!

**Sometimes when I'm feeling frisky, I double the vodka and add a touch more club soda. Just add more sugar according to your taste.**

If you make this drink, let me know how you liked it! Can't wait to see who the winner is!

Until next time!

My go to lately is Cathead honeysuckle vodka mixed with a cranberry-lime Le Croix and garnished with a lime. Easy and refreshing!

Ditto!! So good. We change up the water or club soda with ginger-ale. Either way, so tasty!

I have two summer favs!
Have you tried New Age white wine? On the rocks with lime. It’s super refreshing, my fellow winos.
Secondly, a friend recently reccomended this delicious concoction…
Coconut La Croix, Skinny Girl pineapple coconut water enhancer and Malibu. Garnish w/fresh pineape. Over ice. – Super summery and fairly low cal!

Crystal Light lemonade, lime, and tequila? Just kidding. (but really, it’s kinda good for a skinny marg)

JCT. Kitchen & Bar’s famous JCTea recipe! My favorite barfly spot in ATL. 1 1/2 ounces ice-tea-infused gin
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
1/2 ounce simple syrup
4 dashes orange bitters, such as Regan’s Ice

Combine gin, lemon juice, orange liqueur, simple syrup and bitters in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain!

Being at the lake every weekend, I love a fruity, but refreshing cocktail to sip on. My favorite recently has been a mixture of pineapple orange juice, a hint of either cranberry juice or strawberry Crystal Light, and the Blue Chair Bay coconut rum!

I’m currently expecting so no “real” cocktails for me.
But when I was down in Key West recently, a kind bartender whipped up a virgin mojito for me. With lots of lime and fresh mint, a touch of sugar, and some sparking water, it tasted just as tangy and tasty as the real thing.

I greet my husband at the end of his workday with a pitcher of fruity sangria. We relax awhile on the porch and discuss our day before dinner.

Non alcoholic is great for the hot summer days. Add puréed watermelon to Chrystal lite lemonade, fresh mint and a little local honey. Very refreshing

I’m not a drinker . . . so my favorite summertime “cocktail” is Diet Coke over lots and lots of ice!
