This is the floor plan for "The Dixie" which is the house that we furnished for the tour! For me personally, (since I am in no way, shape, or form a designer) it was such a great learning experience to start from the very beginning of bare house plans to fully decorated!!At times, it was stressful and we definitely second guessed our decision of taking on another project...it went a little something like this.....what are we thinking? was this is a good idea to take on another huge project on top of everything else we have going on? Parish is going to be completely empty for 2 weeks while the tour is going on.. what are we going to do? And then like any other job it all comes together in the end and we could not be happier with the finished project!! Take a peek :)
We had to include the pumpkins here too... I told yall the Curb Market had a great selection!!
Hello Gorgeous!! Elizabeth Hawke does it again with her amazing artwork!!
This room features another original piece of art from a Montgomery native, Lauren Foshee.
This is one of our favorite spots in the house.. fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, vintage wine glasses, and a piece of art from another favorite, Amanda Roberson... yes please!!
If this doesn't make you want to have a baby... I don't know what will!!! :)
We are loving our custom headboard that our sweet upholsterer, Tom Berry, made for us and then our extremely talented painter, Marilyn Heard, customized it even more for us which some awesome details!
This is by far my favorite room in the house!! Who doesn't love fresh, crisp, white bedding and those sunbursts...be still my heart!!
Our precious lemonade stand on the front porch... was just the perfect addition... isn't this to die for!! I think I might have to claim it for my nephew.. he would love it!
