Posted on November 14, 2013 by 1 | 0 CommentsY’all…all I can say is "brrr!" Yesterday’s weather was chilly to say the least! I LOVE when the weather makes the slow shift from a stifling 98 degrees to an easy breezy 75, but lately it seems like we’re at 75 degrees one day and 55 the next! Yesterday was one of those blistering cold 55 degree days. People in the north probably think I’m crazy for thinking 55 is blistering cold, but in the south, it is!!!! When I got home yesterday I put on my comfies, poured myself a large glass of wine and laid on the couch as my husband built the fire and cooked me dinner. I know…I scored big when I got him ;) There is nothing more relaxing to me during the winter than coming home to a fire and vino. I know I’m not the only one who thinks this… While a fire is an absolute “yes” in my book, going outside off and on all night to get the firewood is a solid “no.” Well, for those people out there who agree with me on this one and prefer to store their firewood indoors, PARISH has got some fun ideas for displaying and storing your firewood! I'm only slightly obsessed with this. Someone please convince my husband this is a necessity![/caption] These firewood holders are chic and practical….which for me is a win-win, especially when I’m trying to convince my husband we HAVE to buy one! Above are the ones we have at PARISH, but below are some of our favorites we found online!
This cauldron is from 1stDibs!
Copper bucket from Design Sponge
This built-in look can be found on "A thoughtful eye"
This wooden barrel can be found here
This wire bucket is from Better Homes & Gardens
We hope this post inspires you to create a comfy, yet elegant setup by your fireplace and please, for the sake of all things good, cuddle up next to the fire with some wine tonight :)
