Decorating in Black and White

Maybe it's the stark contrast. Maybe it has something to do with fashion and the way society has shaped our views of the two hues. Black equals sophistication while white tends to evoke thoughts of purity. Combining the two in interior design has always been en vogue and here we are today to show you how to work it! Below are some of the Parish team favorites. What is it about seeing images like these that get our creative minds churning out ideas for our own homes? Enjoy! First up, decorating with black walls. I love the floor and ceiling in this one... Let's take a look at the kitchen. While black and white is mostly simple in nature, the "pop" can be found in the flooring. Love the wood floor tiling below... What is it about a chevron print that is so effortlessly chic?
